Be the one they never saw coming.

At Darkhorse Endurance, we don’t just chase PRs — we chase transformation. These athletes came in with raw talent. What they left with?

“All we need is someone to believe in us, as well as hold expectations.”

  • Every plan follows a proven structure:
    Base → Support → Peak
We don’t guess. We periodize for real results.

  • Whether you're just starting or aiming for a sub-15 5K, your mileage, intensity, and workouts are tailored to you, not copied and pasted from the internet.

  • You’ll understand every run.

We teach you the why, so training feels intentional, not random.

  • Hard days happen.

We build discipline, resilience, and perspective that carry over into life, not just race day.

At Darkhorse Endurance, we don’t train just to race.
We train to become.

These athletes started out overlooked, unranked, and underdogged. What happened next? They dropped minutes. Rewrote expectations. And stood on podiums they were never predicted to reach.

Division 1 runner. State-champion coach.

Late bloomer turned national contender.

I wasn’t a prodigy — I was overlooked, underestimated, and undertrained.
Now I help athletes become the ones no one saw coming — the Darkhorses.
With science-backed plans, real belief, and relentless structure, I’ve coached runners from never qualifying to state podiums, and helped others chase PRs they never thought possible.

Because all you need…
is someone who believes you can.

A gold medal with a red, white, and blue ribbon, a black event badge with purple and white text, and a purple and black sign for the 2025 Horizon League Indoor Track and Field Championships, hosted by Purdue Fort Wayne, with the word "Childress" prominently displayed.
